Wedding Industry Awards
I’m absolutely thrilled to be nominated for the wedding industry awards 2015. My bride & grooms have been kindly voting for me in their droves, and as the wedding industry goes, this is the big one! As the only people who can vote for you are past clients, this process really gives the whole process huge kudos. I’m a great believer in putting yourself out there to be judged and what better way than to be nominated for the wedding industry awards.
The competition is massive as the wedding photography market is saturated and has been for a number of years, but I stand as good a chance as anybody else, so here goes and toes crossed. Nominations closed last week and voting finishes this coming Friday. Fingers crossed we should hear who has been successful on a regional basis first and then if I’m extremely lucky on to the national finals.
It’s lovely to be nominated by previous clients and I guess that reassures me that I’m doing something right and they love what I did for them, which of course is the most important thing.
The national finals night is being held at the Cafe de Paris in early January and will be a fantastic event I’m sure. Being nominated is a great honour and if I’m privileged to pick up some recognition that would be amazing, but to win an award would be very cool.
